Student Researcher Summer 2021

• Conducted DNA analysis and extracted DNA from three types of mice models with the goal of identifying genes that aid cancer patients in coping with pain, resulting in valuable insights for the department's research continuation and the creation of a poster to showcase the findings

• Presented radiology research to over 80 students at the University of Iowa and Lincoln University during the Undergrad Symposium, receiving the award for the work accomplished
