During the summers of 2022 and 2023, I interned with Accenture. In the Summer of 2022, I conducted research on policies and laws around Decentralized Digital Identity in different countries around the continent of Asia, Africa, and Europe. My findings were presented to my team leads and During my time there, I also participated in a North America Pitch Competition where my group was awarded 3rd place.
Summer 2023, I visited the company’s office, participated in community service, met and engaged with other interns and understood the company much better. I got to see the amaing view od the company.
Fall 2023, I participated in an Externship with Home-Depot called Marketing & Digital Brand Experience Externship. During this externship, I participated in a virtual weekly meeting and a bi-weekly company meetings to properly meet expectations of the projects. Using the programs’ student platform, I designed a Mind Map depicting the retail landscape and GenZ consumer habits, conducted focused market research on my targeted competitors, Amazon and IKEA and then evaluated strategies to engage GenZ consumer. After the course of the externship, I synthesized my research into a presentation with recommendations on how to boost Home Depot Home's brand to GenZ
My first research opportunity was at the University of Iowa as a cancer researcher in the Summer of 2021 after COVID-19. I conducted DNA analysis and extracted DNA from three types of mice models with the goal of identifying genes that aid cancer patients in coping with pain, resulting in valuable insights for the department's research continuation and the creation of a poster to showcase the findings. During the Undergrad Symposium, I presented my poster and PowerPoint presentation to over 80 students at the University of Iowa and Lincoln University.
